The Zurich Group has continued to develop it’s guaranteed product range with the introduction of the above account which will be of particular interest to clients looking for a better return than traditional cash deposits but with the absolute guarantee that your capital is 100% protected.

The product has the following features:

• Fixed term investment of 5 1/2 years (to June 2013).
• Growth linked to FTSE 100 Index.
• Gross interest payable equal to 140% of growth in the FTSE 100 Index.
• If the FTSE 100 Index falls, your original investment is guaranteed to be repaid on maturity i.e. this is the worse case scenario.
• If the FTSE 100 index has risen by 30% after 3 years (Dec 2010), 30% gross interest will become payable and the account will close.
• There are no initial or annual charges.
• The final FTSE 100 Index level will be averaged over the last 12 months to reduce volatility.
• Minimum/Maximum investment £2,500/£250,000 per application.
• Available on personal and corporate applicant basis.
• Mini Cash ISA investment allowed of up to £3,000 with interest payable tax-free.
